If you read the book about Charlie and the chocolate factory, then watch the film, you will find some differences between them. I will tell you some of them that I found while reading/watching the book/film.
the first thing I noticed was that he found 10 dollars in the movie, instead of 50 pence in the book. This may shows that the movie is recorded in America?
when he goes to the nearest shop to buy himself one of wonka’s chocolate, he gets the golden ticket on the first chocolate. In the book the needs to buy two chocolates to get the golden ticket, and in the book it says there were many people that gathered around him to see the ticket and buy it, but in the film it was only two persons around him.
           When he gets home to show the ticket to his family, he first want to sell it to get money to the family, but in the book they don’t say anything about selling it.

One of the most interesting things is that wonka’s father is in the movie, he is a dentist but has lost his contact with willy wonka since he was a child. His father doesn’t exist in the book at all! Its very strange why… I can’t understand why his father isn’t in the book, I mean its good to know a little about willy wonka’s life in the past and not just about Charlie and his family.
the time period is different to, in the movie they show kids playing tv-games and people driving cars (Volvo 740) wich is sold between 1985-1992. So the movie must be around 1990.
in the book Charlie found a 50 pence NOTE, the notes were made to 1969 then it became coins. The chocolate bar was also cheaper in the book, it was cheaper in the 60s than it was in the 90s. So the book must be set in the 1940-60s.

then there is one more thing I noticed when I was watching, the narrator in the film was a umpa lumpa, you will know that in the end of the film, but in the book there is a third person narrator.

So we can clearly see that there is some differences between the film and the book. But they are still quite the same so there is no ‘’big’’ changes you will find if you don’t look very hard.

Information Freedom – Whom can you really trust?

The group ‘’anonymous’’ stands for freedom of speech. They are a group that want’s more freedom on the internet. They started a operation called ‘’operation payback’’ and attacked anti-privacy websites to make more freedom on the internet.

 

Then Wikileaks was posting top-secret files on the internet so everyone could read them. They want the information to be public.

 

I think its right to let the people know about some secret things in the world, what if the military know about a new attack and non of us was prepared to get help or stay protected. So I say its good to let the people know about the secrets.

 

wikileaks was exposing information about the kaupthing bank in Iceland, the bank had given itself all the money to get the workers rich. So wikileaks revealed the bank to everyone and did a good job. I think wikileaks are smart and just like anonymous, want’s to give people freedom.

     I don’t know how our government  are to us but If they should hide information that can influence the people I would say that they are manipulating us! Its not right to only let some people know about the secret things that all of us should be able to know about.

 

I think the media are lying to us quite much because of the money they gain by just get people to listen or see tv programs or buy interesting news. Its like they say something very interesting but in reality its not true or just not that extreme as they describe. It all about the money and which one of the companies that are best and the biggest.

 

Some countries has disabled access to the internet. That’s just stupid. I mean it’s the ‘’world wide web’’  everyone should have access to the internet and communicate with others and see what’s happening around the world!

Who am i?

Hello! My name is Filip and i live in ludvigsborg ( between höör and Hörby ) I have one brother, a dog and a cat, then my mom and dad ofcourse. My favourite hobby is motocross and cars. I also like old mopeds. In my sparetime i like to be with my friends and drive a-traktor. My favourite school subject now is datorteknik. I think English is very important to learn because alot of people use it around the World to communicate with people with a another language. My education before ''gymnasiet'' was mostly like the old Learning method, but sometimes we were talking in Groups and played bingo and stuff like that. We didn't had so much homework because we learnt all in school and i think it was really good to have it like that so you can have more sparetime but still learn English. I don't know if there is anything i need to learn in English by now.
I think English is quite fun, and i would like to have atleast grade B in it because i know i can make it to there.

 

 

Hej! Mitt namn är Filip Nilsson, jag bor i en liten by mellan Höör och Hörby som kallas Ludvigsborg. Jag älskar allt som har med motorer att göra och saker som går fort! Själv kör jag cross som är riktigt kul och krävande. Jag och min pappa har också byggt en A-traktor som jag kör rundor med. När jag inte kör cross eller mekar med veteranmopeder så umgås jag med kompisar eller min familj. Vi har en trög hund som heter Pelle och en konstig katt som heter Nisse.

Varför jag valde It-gymnasiet beror nog på att jag tycker det är roligt och spännande med elektronik och just denna skolan verkade bra för mig.

När jag blir stor vill jag troligtvis vara en nätverkstekniker, men det är svårt att veta det nu... fast det lutar åt det hållet i alla fall!
Ämnet svenska är ett bra och ganska roligt ämne. jag har alltid haft bra betyg i just svenska så det gör ju inte saken värre! Det är inget precis jag kommer på som jag vill/behöver lära mig i svenska nu, men det kommer nog något som jag vill lära mig senare.
betyget jag vill arbeta mig till är MINST ett C. siktar såklart mot ett A men har hitintills inte uppnått det i svenska så jag blir besviken på mig själv om jag kommer under betyg C.
